Purpose and Values

During a recent strategic planning exercise we spent a lot of time discussing our Founders’ vision, revisiting our purpose, discussing our unique positioning and redefining our role within the Midlands community.

As you are probably aware we’re the “new kids” in terms of high schools in the KZN Midlands and are unique in that we are the only day scholar, co-educational, private school in the area, and we’re growing rapidly both in terms of pupil numbers and the facilities we have available.

We’re proud of our youthful heritage and what has been achieved to date. Many of our past pupils are making a global impact in their respective fields and have benefitted from an educational experience that has encouraged lateral thinking, supported diversity and developed pupils’ particular talents without them being confined by outdated traditions.

We are strategically planning our future growth and role in the Midlands community within the below moral compass

Purpose Statement

Building on the vision our Founders, our Purpose Statement is: Transforming Young Adults Through Innovative Educational Excellence.

School Motto

Our school motto underpins our founding spiritual base and is: Our Utmost for His Highest.

Culture Statements

We are committed to achieving our Purpose by working within the following values and principles:

Christian Ethos

We will always be loyal in upholding Biblical principles.

Challenge

We constantly seek to challenge young men & women to grow in stature.

Accountability

We continuously hold ourselves, and each other, accountable for our actions.

Community

We will work together to build meaningful relationships in our community. If your child has been raised within a framework that is aligned with these moral principles then we’d really value meeting with you to discuss how we can form a partnership that will ensure that your child benefits from a positive and supported, yet challenging, high school experience.
